The Twelve Days of Christmas at The Dallas Arboretum
The Twelve Days of Christmas at the Dallas Arboretum runs from November 6th-January 8, 2017. Southern Living Magazine hails it as “One of the South’s Best Holiday Experiences,” and they’re absolutely right!
Celebrate the holidays like never before with this centerpiece exhibit featuring an elaborate collection of 25-foot Victorian style gazebos filled with the charming costumed characters, whimsical animals and music made famous by the beloved Christmas carol. Each gazebo will be encased in glass and extravagantly decorated on all sides to provide a dramatic, three-dimensional experience, and will feature mechanical parts and festive music that will assist in bringing the characters to an even more life-like state.

A Charlie Brown Christmas
Christmas time is here, and we’re fortunate that it brings Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang to DCT. Charles Schulz’s classic animated television special comes to life as you’ve never seen before. The young and the young at heart will be tapping their toes and oohing and ahhing as the live combo band surrounds the audience in a magical, memorable holiday spectacle. Make sure you’re front and center as Charlie Brown and his friends discover the real meaning of Christmas.

The Trains at NorthPark
The Trains at NorthPark, presented by Bank of Texas and benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, has been a NorthPark Center tradition for 18 years. The most elaborate miniature toy trains exhibit in Texas, The Trains at NorthPark features trains rolling across 1,800 feet of track on a journey across America. Cityscapes include New York City’s Time Square and Grand Central Station, Washington D.C.’s White House, New England’s fall foliage, the Grand Canyon, Route 66, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, Albuquerque’s hot air balloons, and of course, Dallas’ Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, State Fair of Texas, Cotton Bowl, Perot Museum, Southern Methodist University and more.

Christmas on Main at Historic Downtown Grapevine, Texas

Step back in time this season at Christmas on Main. See Victorian-style buildings dressed up with ribbons, bows and wreaths and set aglow with twinkling lights. Take a tractor-drawn wagon ride ($1 per person, per ride) and view beautiful decorated historic neighborhoods on the east side of Main.

Fishmas With Scuba Diving Santa at Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium
Join Sea Life Grapevine during Fishmas for festive underwater fun with the big man himself, Scuba Diving Santa. Experience a dive show like no other with a jolly red-suited diver, beard and all, along with his elf as they take the plunge in a magical dive show amongst the fish, sharks and stingrays in the 160,000-galloon ocean tank. Pose for pictures and find out if he thinks you’ve been naughty or nice. Scheduled dives occur on Dec. 10, 11, 17 and 18 at 11:30 a.m.
Meet mascot Sharky Santa from 2 to 4 p.m., then find fish swimming with holiday cheer throughout the aquarium with fun tank clings that include Santa hats, elf ears and reindeer antlers. Share your photos on social media using #fishmas and by tagging @sealifegrpevine for a chance to win a family 4 pack of tickets to the aquarium.
