There are so many fun fall events that you can enjoy with family and friends this September! This month kicks off with Labor Day weekend. Come enjoy music and delicious barbeque at the Bedford Blues and BBQ festival. For more information on the dates, times, and headliners check out their website: www.bedfordbluesfest.com.

Also on September 2nd at 9:30pm come enjoy free Labor Day Fireworks at Lake Grapevine! You can even download special free music to go along with the fireworks display. Your family and friends will love this display for Labor Day Weekend.

On September 12th, Colleyville’s Demi Lovato will be coheadlining at the American Airlines Center with Nick Jonas, who was also a resident of North Texas at one point. September 15-18th is when GrapeFest will be taking place this year. This super popular festival is fun for people of all ages. It’s enjoyed by tourists as well as long time local residents. There are numerous vendors present who offer great products with local flavor. There is also a great music scene during GrapeFest and of course new wines.

September 17th kicks off Autumn at the Arboretum in Dallas. This seasonal fest runs through November 23rd and features opportunities to enjoy Pumpkin Village, which will be filled with over 75,000 pumpkins and gourds. There will also be 150,000 blooming fall flowers in additon to the stunning pumpkin display. Endless photo opportunities are available.

On September 23-25th is a fun filled weekend that includes both the Plano Balloon Festival and the 60th annual Greek Festival of Dallas. If you attend the Plano Balloon Festival  you’ll get to enjoy hot air balloons, fireworks, sky divers, concerts and children’s attractions. There is also a Half Marathon, Relay, 5K Run/Walk and 1K Fun Run/Walk. You’ll love it! The Greek Festival of Dallas offers food, music, cooking demonstrations, dancing, backgammon and more. Try your best to attend both…you won’t be sorry!

Lastly, September 30th kicks off the State Fair of Texas in Fair Park. Like GrapeFest, this long standing tradition is a favorite of locals as well as tourists. Enjoy rides and attractions, contests, deep fried food, animals, Big Tex and more. The fair runs from September 30th through October 23, 2016.
